Sugar Crisis in Pakistan - A Fake

As you all know, our country is in the middle of a "Fake Sugar Crisis", that has been imposed on us, just to increase the prices of sugar.
In a country that is 5th on the list of top sugarcane producers in the world, sugar should have disappeared from the markets.90% of the Sugar Mills operating in our country, are owned by our politicians, and they are the ones responsible for this fake crisis.

What’s really behind the sugar crisis?

Responsible people admit their guilt

ARY has stated a great campaign of boycotting sugar in their offices. Warid Telecom and a lot of other offices have also banned consumption of sugar in their offices.

No doubt sugar is something that can be stored for a long time, without any loss, so if we don't consume sugar, the sugar mills will just keep on storing it more, but our boycott will deprive them of free flow of cash that they would have got, if we bought sugar for Rs.70 Per KG. We all are reluctant to go out to the roads due to fear or any other reason, to protest for our rights, but Boycotting Sugar is something we CAN do. I agree that everything is not in our hand but this is something which is indeed in our hand. If you think that your 2-3 spoons of sugar consumption will not make any difference, well you are wrong.Everything counts, and these little changes make a BIG difference.

We all are well set and privileged and most of us can even buy sugar for Rs.70 but think of the not so privileged people, whose TREAT is a hot cup of tea with 2 spoons of sugar in it. The imposed hike of sugar prices will take away their only treat.

So lets start by avoiding sugar in tea and consuming sweet biscuits and cold drinks (atleast in our offices).

Lets participate in this cause and work like a Nation for once.

I hope i will get a great response from all of you (in terms of a sugar boycott), and you people will encourage others (including your family, relatives, friends, etc) aswell to support the Sugar Boycott.
